Our pathetic fourth estate

I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.  The faux outrage du jour is that Rush Limbaugh called a woman some ungentlemanly names on his radio show.  Being a gentleman myself, I will not repeat them.  But seriously, is this what counts as an outrage these days?  Is this the sort of thing that the President feels he needs to wade into so that he can assuage the feelings of the woman in question?  That the press has spent more than 20 minutes having the vapors over this is all you need to know about how pathetic they are. In what universe does what Limbaugh said even in the same galaxy as what low-life misogynists like Bill Maher has said (or Keith Olbermann, or Chris Matthews, or Matt Taibbi, or Ed Schultz)?
